CINCY FOLLOWED THE TRIO OF CARDINAL DEFEATS WITH 7-6 AND 2-1 VICTORIES OVER THE CUBS BEFORE DROPPING THE FINAL GAME OF THE SERIES 2-1.

THE TRIP SOUTH SAW THE REDS OPEN A FOUR-GAME SERIES WITH THE MARLINS BY POSTING A 4-3 WIN BEFORE A SINGLE BAD INNING BY CINCY RELIEVERS LED TO THREE CONSECUTIVE LOSSES, BEFORE THE WEKEND SERIES AGAINST THE PIRATES.

THE READS RETURN HOME FOR THREE=GAME SERIES' AGAINST THE DODGERS AND PADRES.
